As I took shot after shot of the crashing waves, this lady just sat there serenely gazing at the water and admiring its power. Her position was just a few metres from the where the most powerful of the waves hit the rocks.
I tried to merge these two shots through Photoshop but they weren’t intended to be merged. They wouldn’t merge automatically so I did it manually with a lot of patience. I did not want to make them seem to be one shot and you can see the lines where the two photos meet. Did some extra editing after.
Many thanks for all your views, comments and favs. Always much appreciated.
Quite a lot of work in the edit Dione but in my humble opinion I would rather see it in a diptych , and I would rather have seen the lady with the whole scene in front of her !! I am intrigued to see what is behind the join !
@beryl I merged the two pictures to show how close she was to the crashing waves and could still remain dry and serene. In a diptych that would not show.
I can see why they didn't want to merge :) Such a difference - and that woman is mad - over here that's exactly how fishermen get washed off rocks and drowned. I like your presentation. Cheers
Beautiful shots and great processing.
