It took me five different pictures to create this image. I started by joining two pictures to show both sides of the medal. Then I added a picture of Max on the pitch chasing a ball which was not in the picture. Then I extended the ribbon (from a different picture) to the other side of Max’s Picture. Finally I decided to add the ball from yet another picture. I like the end result.
Story: During Carnival which comes before Ash Wednesday, beginning from Friday to Tuesday, Max attended for a three-day training camp with his Luxol Football Nursery. The training was conducted by coaches who came for this purpose from Newcastle United from Northern England. Ian, Max’s father, was following Max on Sunday, the first day and I followed him the next two days. All three days were freezing cold with gusts of strong winds and rain, especially on Monday when I stayed most of the day under shelter. In the end all the children – around 150 of different ages divided into age groups – were given a medal of attendance.
Till now, I haven’t been impressed with Max’s footballing skills, but he enjoys playing the game with others and I don’t mind as long as he is having a good time.
Many thanks for all your views, comments and favs. Always much appreciated.
I think you are right, having a good time is the main thing. Not every sport suits every kid. Thanks for the explanation of how you put this together, I always find such details interesting.
Beautiful done. Fav. for the captures and a fav. for the processing.
