This the Neptune courtyard. The Neptune statue was near the fishmarket many years ago but was transferred to the Governor General's Office (now the President of Malta's) during British occupation. During the reign of Queen Victoria its Neptune's private parts were covered by a bronze leaf. Some years ago the leaf was removed to bring the statue to its original state.
