Shot s taken on 26th August, the last day of our holiday in Sicily.
On our last day in Sicily we went to Palazzolo Acreide – a name I had never heard of before. It was Ian (my son-in-law) who decided that we should go there and he made a great choice.
These are three of the beautiful doorways I have captured as we walked the main street of this lovely town.
Palazzolo Acreide is a very old town going back to 664b.c. The town was almost completely destroyed by a big earthquake in the late 17th century and was slowly rebuilt as it is today.
Many thanks for your views, comments and fav's on yesterday's picture.
(You can listen to a concert every Sunday morning. )
