Shots taken on 26th August, the last day of our holiday in Sicily.
Even more interesting than the Greek theatre at the top of the hill overlooking Palazzolo Acreide where these caves hewn in the rocks and which served as burial sites. There were several of them around the place and I am here sharing three of the shots I took.
Archeology gives a good insight on how our ancestors lived and died – love it.
