We had a long walk to get to the Palazzo dei Normanni but what we saw in this chapel was amazing. The Palazzo was not open to the public at the time except for a small part which had a small museum and if it was we didn't have time to take a good tour of it.
Cappella Palatina is one of the most impressive features of Palazzo dei Normanni. With its three-nave interior designed in the traditional Roman basilica style, and the imposing granite columns bearing ogive arches dating back to the Islamic period.
The Cappella is not very large but is all covered with beautiful mosaic works. Light in the Cappella was very low and I had to up the ISO to high levels to get good shots.
