Our Prime Minister has announced that the pandemic is over and all establishments may open now. Health Ministry has stated that we should be wary and wear masks. Many of us feel confused and cheated. Having been lockdown al these weeks and then being left to drift and not sure if it is safe to go out seems risky. On 1st June all ports, sea and air, will be opened. Business comes before health.
Thank you for your views, comments and fav's.
A beautiful new bud entering the world full of uncertainties ! Very bold of your Prime minister to state the pandemic over in Malta - So confusing - all you can do is use your common sense , keeping your distance and by the grace of God , Keep safe !
It's a shocking thing when it suddenly changes, isn't it? I am feeling the same here. Primary school children returned today for some year groups, but many parents too scared to send their children in. My parents have been shielding for 10 weeks now but are still advised to, though they can now go for a walk or see a friend or family member at a distance in the garden. Yet businesses and sport are opening up too. All very confusing. I pray you and your family stay safe and that you do not experience a second wave of infections on the island.
Lovely photo! I’d not seen lemon blossom before, you’ll have to post another when it blooms!
Yes in the UK things are s-l-o-w-l-y being encouraged to get back to normal, with some year groups goIng back to school today. Although I work in a school my return has not yet been requested (thankfully) so I’m just going to continue being careful and having my groceries delivered and staying 2mtrs away!! 🍋 🌳👌🏻
Restrictions have eased here too but not to the extend of ports, sea and air opened, that must be worrying for you.
I will still be wary going out even though we have only had 9 new cases in Australia and they were due to people arriving back here and in isolation.
Stay safe.
Lockdown here is starting to ease here in the UK from today. I suppose in many ways the lifting of restrictions is a particularly risky and uncertain time, so I will probably go out less in the immediate future until I see how things progress.
Lovely blossoms ready to burst, nice focus.
We are in the middle of easing lockdown but hubby and me are being cautious staying in and having food delivered. We are still getting 8.000 cases a day here in the UK, it’s frightening and I feel it is far to early to come out of lockdown, nobody seems to know what they are doing, it’s madness.
Everyone is confused...so many rules they keep changing just a bit so you can’t remember.....those instructions seem to be at odds! I think your Prime Minster is a bit deluded !
This must be so confusing for you. Think of what is best for you and minimise any risks. Stay safe.
Love the blossom image, about to burst into life
