Ebony and Ivory live together in perfect harmony.
Contrary to humans unfortunately. I liked this peaceful scene at Salini the other day. Yesterday evening I attended a protest meeting in front of the Russian Embassy against the invasion of Ukraine. I thought that something like that would never have happened in the twenty-first century.
I love your photo and comments. I wanted to yell "STOP!" as we watched the invasion of Ukraine unfold for weeks, then finally happen. I would have attended a protest if there had been one near me, but some friends and I joined a worldwide novena for peace in Ukraine.
It is a beautiful peaceful scene! What many people don't realise about Ukraine is that there has been a war in the east of the country since 2014 with a group of seperatists (backed by Russian weapons) wanting to break away from Ukraine. Many thousands have died before the current Russian invasion began.
A lovely capture, very peaceful unlike what is happening in Ukraine.I feel very sad for these people who've done nothing to bring this invasion into their country. It only takes one megalomaniac.
A troubled area for a bit though I think….you don’t expect or hardly dare think it would escalate into full war though. There always seems to be some place at war somewhere….is it so hard to live in peace these days? I think sometimes women leaders only allowed in countries…I’m sure things would be nit as fraught!
