Midway between between Malta and Gozo is the third biggest island of the Maltese archipelago. And one can see and take pictures of this uninhabited (almost) island even though there is a luxury hotel and thousands upon thousands go for day trips in Summer to a beautiful beach with emerald sea. It is also important for snorklers with many beautiful caves to explore.
In this collage
Top left is Santa Maria Tower: It was used as the Chateau d'If in the film The Count of Montecristo with the lead actor being Gérard Depardieu.
Top right are caves along the coast
Bottom left: A fast pleasure boat passes by one of the coves; and
Bottom right are the cliffs where in the Montecristo film the Count was packed in a sack and thrown into the sea.

My favourite is the bottom right cliffs!
