This shot follows yesterday’s where I mentioned the statue at the corner of St Joseph Church in Rabat. When taking yesterday’s shot, we (Christine and I) heard music coming out of the church which seemed well lit on the inside. “Let’s have a look” says I. “Yes, but just a look. Time to go back home” came the reply. So we went inside and found the church packed with people. A Christmas concert was going on by the Vilhena Band. Out came my mobile and I took a couple of shots. “Now you’re ready?” came Christine’s voice. “Time to go.” And we left to my dismay because there was no reason for me to hurry back home and I would have loved to stay for a few minutes to hear the music. And this is the church ceiling which I think is very beautiful.
Am being quite occupied because of Christine's right arm being in plaster but coping well till now.
Thank you very much for all your visits, comments and fav's on yesterday's picture.
What a stunning ceiling, you did a great job of capturing it so well. I suppose Christine wanted you to go back home as there were some chores waiting for you ;-)
What an incredible ceiling. I suppose Christine doesn't have the same interest as you when it comes to photography. Non photographers don't really understand how we can spend hours seeing the world through the lens.
That is a fabulous interior.....so much detail......the upkeep must be phenomenal. I am not a christian, but I can certainly appreciate wonderful architecture and paintings.
So beautifully decorative! I think perhaps Christine thought a few minutes might turn into quite a few minutes, I’m sure she knows you well with camera ( be it a phone) in hand lol 😜
