From the stair window you get this lovely view of Dad's garden.....part of it anyway.
He has replanted his strawberries on the left about half way along the path, with blackcurrants and raspberries nearer the house.
And all the other lovely spring flowers are descendants of the ones that grew when I was little and I love them so much!
Three good things
1. Dad is still fit enough to work his garden a little bit at a time.
2. Lots of people passing by chat to him and comment so positively about how lovely it is.
3. We had leeks, broccoli and rhubarb from the garden at the weekend!
That garden is your dad's life blood I would think ......as you say so good he is fit enough to work it, your mums freezer will be full! I expect he gives his neighbours plenty too! He can watch the world go by as he digs!
