Love the way this elegant flower comes into its own just when so much else is fading and dying!
Lasted out through Friday after my midnight radio updates on the referendum results. Not much said about who had voted which way at school!
And then when I got home Allan told me Alex Salmond was standing down. I'm not his number one fan but I did feel sad for him. He has been totally committed to the cause of Independence for his entire political life (he's just a year older than me) and I can't imagine how he would feel today.
Three good things
1. positive morning in the classroom
2. really getting 'stuff' organised and finding places for what I've unpacked
3. Jonathan home, Allan made tea and I had an early to bed night!
