Looking north from the shore at Tain, across the Dornoch Firth to the hills beyond.
The shore doesn't look very attractive when the tide is out but I did like the lines from this side of the boulder wall and green behind it. All helps to limit erosion too.
Three good things
1. Lunch with Mum and Dad
2. '40 winks' in my chair by the fireside
3. Fresh air and a walk on paths I haven't travelled for a while!
@happypat I hadn't thought of it that way Pat, but you're right. Tain is pretty much as it was when my mum was growing up in many ways and the 'industrial areas' are not near the Dornoch Firth. They do provide much needed employment though so can't complain too much. But it's a fantastic part of the country and I never get tired of being there.
