At last....having searched in cupboards and drawers and corners in every room in the house.....and tidying up as I went along....I eventually found my knitting pin wrap at the bottom of a basket in the spare room, with layers of wool and wadding on top!!!!
It was the obvious place...but when they weren't on the top I walked away!
Three good things
1. They are all packed up nicely in their special storage place which is what I created for them several years ago.
2. Knitting afternoon
3. A special 'bereavement service' at church for people who have lost loved ones this year. I went along to keep a colleague company and it made a difference for her.
Your pins and yarns are lovely. Your No. 3 is special. I have three friends who have lost their husbands this year. I reach out to them as often as possible.
Very organised. Katharine had been doing a lot of knitting before her time in hospital - a Thomas tank engine jumper for our grandaughter who will soon be two and who loves trains after a visit to the railway museum in York during her visit in the summer.
Thank you for your lovely comments.
I did a lot of knitting years ago but it's a while since the last project. Phases of life!
