Pack of pins by sarah19

Pack of pins

At last....having searched in cupboards and drawers and corners in every room in the house.....and tidying up as I went along....I eventually found my knitting pin wrap at the bottom of a basket in the spare room, with layers of wool and wadding on top!!!!
It was the obvious place...but when they weren't on the top I walked away!
Three good things
1. They are all packed up nicely in their special storage place which is what I created for them several years ago.
2. Knitting afternoon
3. A special 'bereavement service' at church for people who have lost loved ones this year. I went along to keep a colleague company and it made a difference for her.
A lovely knitting needle store and soft skeins of yarn great shot

I know where my knitting is and I'm studiously trying to ignore it! Nice way of keeping the needles!

Well done, and what great way to store your needles. The wool looks interesting too!

I have not seen mine for years, but I know where they are. Did a lot of knitting when my daughters were young. Love your nr 1.

Your pins and yarns are lovely. Your No. 3 is special. I have three friends who have lost their husbands this year. I reach out to them as often as possible.

Lovely composition. The holidays are so difficult for people grieving.

Thank you for your lovely comments.
I did a lot of knitting years ago but it's a while since the last project. Phases of life!

Can't begin to tell you how many things I have put in "a safe place" and then lost! Nice image. All the best with your project!

Very organised. Katharine had been doing a lot of knitting before her time in hospital - a Thomas tank engine jumper for our grandaughter who will soon be two and who loves trains after a visit to the railway museum in York during her visit in the summer.
