Laura's Birthday today. So glad she is happy with her lovely husband Iain, in Melbourne but would so love to give her a hug. They were going out to enjoy Birthday brunch after opening some gifts 😊.
Meanwhile at home I took the Christmas tree down, sorted out all the ornaments and found boxes to store some of them for next time! We always had our tree down before Laura's birthday when she was little so she could have all her cards and decorations for her Birthday party like the others!!
Three good things
1. Bright sunshine and pleasant walks.
2. Catch up with friends on phone.
3. Lobster pick up from a friend....it was just out of a boat and still alive!!! Now cooked and chilling!!
Lovely smiles from the birthday girl! We always did (and still do) the opposite with our decorations - putting them up after our daughter's birthday on 12th December. Taking them down was never an issue. It's important to separate the birthdays from the Christmas celebration - if at all possible!
