Lunchtime at home with a glass of wine.....gentle end to a tricky year and grateful that through it all there have been lots of things to feel thankful for.
Had a lovely afternoon creating 'Afternoon Tea on a Plate' to take to some friends I haven't seen for too long!! Sticky toffee cake, Chocolate Orange Fudge Slice and Baileys Fudge......sugar overload but at this point in the year 😄😄😄😄
It was so lovely to drop them off at their door and have a wee chat.
I didn't make them all from scratch today! Found Sticky Toffee Pudding base in the freezer and the Baileys fudge too....and the rest was fun.
Three good things
1. The best of friends.....😊
2. Simple lunch with a glass of wine.
3. Lobster for supper, supplied by a friend with a boat. Allan enjoyed using his new Masterchef Bible to create a very tasty dish.

Lobster, oh my that’s a real treat for New Years Day....I’ve never had lobster! Allan will be in his element! We have had our salmon en Croute a la Cartford...it was truly delicious & there is a large slice left!
