It was a good morning for a first run so off I went. I've sponsored a friend who is running for Macmillan this month so I felt I wasn't on my own.
Said 'Happy New Year' to everyone I met and they all responded!!
Three good things
1. Ice free morning
2. Catch up chats with friends and family.
3. 'Mince and tatties' for supper! A bit of a tradition until we started having friends for dinner on Hogmanay. But not this year!!
It's been horrendously icy here. Had to wear studs for a walk around the village yesterday. It'll be the same today. Thawing temps during the day and below 0 at night. Not a good combination! Glad you got out for your jog though - it's very good for the mind (and the body).
