It was so inviting out there in the sunshine and the storyteller in me really wanted to create some maths activities with the toys I used last year for some online fun.
So we went out and 'played' a number game on the patio table, thickly covered in snow. And then we wandered down to the bottom of the garden to see the snowdrops that I had taken photos of at the weekend. There was only a tiny leaf peeping out, but when I scraped away some of the snow they were still there! I suppose it's the safest place at the moment.
Later in the day the clouds were back and lots more snow fell.
Three good things
1. Paper shop walk....I don't think I saw anyone running at all today.
2. Busy online and after a bit of a low I seemed to get myself in gear, thanks to a chat with a colleague.
3. Pilates - so good not having to drive to a class this evening as the roads are very bad around here!
