Oh what a difference the sun makes! It's been a lovely day and as we had told some friends they were welcome to collect logs from our pile Allan suggested they come this afternoon. That was just what I needed to get started....even though we were just meeting outdoors. Housework, three loads of laundry, kitchen cleaning (doesn't the sun show up all the dusty places), gingerbread in the oven, delivered fish to a friend, made lunch.....
I hadn't realised how much I'd been missing connecting with friends!
Three good things
1. Feeling the buzz 😄
2. Everyone enjoyed tea and ginger cake.
3. Tidy house so now can gently prepare for next week at school.
Just what our place here is missing...the sun. It’s quite a dark house & I know my Mothers Day flowers & card would look as nice as yours but they are in the wrong vase & on the kitchen windowsill, the sun comes out late afternoon....behind the trees though so no sun!
