After a drizzly grey morning and wet lunchtime, it was good to find the day clearing up and sunshine making its mark.Glistening in the autumn leaves the tone of the day changed completely.
Three good things
1. A long sleep.
2. A wander around the large furniture shop looking for ideas for lampshade. I brought home a lovely lamp base from No 15 but tricky to find a perfect shade that works in our room.
3. Fireworks night across at the park. We watched from the window as Allan was making a fish dish for dinner. Lovely colours and lots of people around.
