Happy with part one of the dining room chairs project. We've had them for almost thirty years, along with a lovely extendable table. But the base of the seats were not very strong .....we discovered recently when one of our guests heard a crack as she sat down!!!! She was very good-humoured about it but I was so shocked. When we checked the other chairs we found two others also needing replacing.
Last night we collected all six from a lovely gentleman who is an expert and very happy to help us. I'd bought the fabric and other materials a few weeks ago so this afternoon.....
Happy to see it looking rather smart. Five more to go. 😊
Three good things
1. Long sleep and lots of hot drinks - throat o little fragile after all the singing yesterday.
2. Photos and messages from the family.
3. Lovely soup for lunch.
