So excited to see how the camellia (top right) is flourishing with lovely shiny leaves after its 'blasting' by winter in 2010-2011.
The weeping laburnum is so thick it feels like it's on the move.....creeping towards the house!
And the rhododendron have enjoyed the weather so far and thriving by the little stream at the edge of the garden!
Meanwhile the cyclists down south have had a very grim day!
@ellida Thanks Graham
They had hoped to update online but have only managed a wee bit on Facebook as minimum signal at many of the campsites!
Yesterday they had to stop due to wind and rain and not feeling their hands and feet in cold! But got to destination on 4 wheels. Tents pretty wet as rain at night! But tonight all being well they will be with our lovely friend Pat (@happypat) at her B&B which we know quite well. :)
Is there a blog site or a twitter feed to follow their progress?
