The end and a new beginning

Had lovely evening with friends for dinner to celebrate Hogmanay as we call New Year's Eve in this part of the world!
2015 has been a rather significant year for us, and we have learned about the things that are really important from some roller coaster experiences. And our new little grandson in October kept some health issues in perspective. Fantastic surprise arrival of Laura and Iain so recently was icing on cake!
Now looking forward into the days and weeks of 2016. For me it's a big year. ...big birthday just days away. WOW! How can that be happening I say.....

@happypat was lovely gentle evening Pat! Just two of us at home.....but all the others happy where they are. Laura and Iain just landed back in Melbourne a little while ago! What a couple of weeks!!!
