After a lovely weekend with Mum and Dad I headed home with some concern as so much rain has fallen at home while I was up north. But the roads were quite quiet and I got home safely. Still raining though.
Three good things
1. Time to get some shopping with Mum's friend before heading home
2. Safe travel and my good little car.
3. Home again. ...Skype time to David &Co who travel back to Kiev tomorrow.
That is a relief Sallie, was wondering how you were affected. Some terrible scenes on the TV. That castle poised on the edge of the river, it would be tragic if it collapsed!

Thank you for your lovely comments. There's been almost continuous rain in Oldmeldrum for 3 days and everything has been so dark and gloomy. We don't really have any waterways of any size but two rivers converge in Inverurie (River Don and River Urie) and there are some alarming things happening there tonight.....and so much more water up in the higher areas so even if the rain stops there could still be lots more water to arrive!!
And yes that's one of my Denby mugs - it's funny how homely an assortment of books and plants can look on a table :)
