The Kilmarnock Willow (weeping on the right) is a real old faithful.....about 30 years old. I was really hard on it with my secateurs and saw a few years back as it was so overgrown. It grows by the bank of the stream that runs down the side of our garden and as the stream has changed course a little it's very difficult to access the other side.
It's branches are gnarled and twisted but it still looks quite charming when the buds appear again!
1. Lovely layers of green coming on the manse drive.
2. Love Fridays when I'm at home for the weekend.
3. Finished a large ironing pile - feels good!
