Lovely outing after lunch to the Nigg Cromarty ferry. I crossed here at weekends when I was teaching first. No way out /back otherwise as public transport very limited back then.
Good to see the little car ferry back in service as it didn't run at all last year..
Dad enjoyed being by the sea as he grew up in the Outer Hebrides and life revolved round land and sea activities. And Mum was happy to sit in the car and watch the carsun and people coming and going. Only two cars at a time! And quite a variety of boats too.
Three good things
1. A bit of weeding and tidying after lunch
2. First strawberry picked in the garden
3. Lovely outing together
