After another delicious breakfast and a walk on Findhorn beach we took an alternative route home, passing Pluscarden Abbey which we had visited a lot of years ago! It was so peaceful today and the sun shone on the glorious countryside all the way.
There was a service about to begin for the monks there....one was ringing the bell just as we were leaving the open area. I think on weekdays more of the abbey is accessible to the public but we enjoyed what we saw.
Three good things
1. A good drive home feeling rested!
2. Tidy house ....so glad we did that before we left
3. Loved looking at all my photos on the computer....so much nicer in full size!
