We've been exploring the story of the 3 Billy Goats Gruff in class and two little people were creating the meadow picture. We found different green and yellow crayons and thinking about how best to have all the grass growing in the same direction I suggested they draw lots and lots of 1s on the page...........which they did........and later I found what else!!! 1+1=2......and a face and a dancing person and more!!!!! What a big smile when I think of it!!!!
