We have some sheep in the glebe this last week.... they don't seem to be bothered when we walk by. The family in the manse are moving to a new house so we won't have any immediate neighbours for a while...
all that space where the sheep are is destined for house building and a new church .....if things pick up around here. Jobs are rather scarce with the way the oil price / industry has been going these last few months / years so we'll wait and see!
Three good things
1. The boiler is in place and running very nicely for which we are very grateful!
2. Big clean up of utility room and garage.....where we have only once ever had a car!!! It is full of so much else!
3. Lots to the dump / recycle centre.

Did you find the meanings.......the minister (presbyterian church in Scotland) is the church leader and the glebe was the land associated wtih the manse (the house where the minister lived) and they really did work it to raise their own food, vegetables etc! Most have been sold off in recent years and minister salaries are a little more so they can spend time doing their caring for the congregation rather than digging and planting!
