Well I hadn't planned for shopping today but we ended up in Aberdeen and had quite a shopathon! Good to feel some of the Christmas things are in hand. I don't really enjoy shopping on Saturdays at this time of year as it's so crowded and people look so miserable.
But today worked out very well.
Three good things
1. Parking space REALLY close to the station at Inverurie. ...and new (to us) car very comfortable.
2. John Lewis staff so helpful. A lovely young lady made bed shopping very pleasant and a great deal on the mattress.
3. A lovely chat with Susannah who is finding Edinburgh rather chilly after Melbourne!
We went shopping today just for grapefruit but ended up gettingquite a few odds & ends, the shops were surprisingly quiet. Bed shopping sounds fun! A fresh car.....we have one coming on Tuesday too. Not new but new to us too! Lots of news from Susannah bet you can't wait to catch up!
@happypat the time has come to get rid of the girls single beds which are very well used. May find a place to pass them on rather than the dump!
And Allan went for bread last week and came home having spotted a 2 year old Audi in the garage across the road. ...good deal all round! I'm going to try and drive it sometimes too!!
