It was a rather special day! A friend from student days, who lives in the USA, is on holiday with her daughter and staying a short drive from us. Today they came for lunch and a little catch-up! It's 40 years since we were student teachers in Aberdeen! We haven't seen each other since! What a lot of catch up and memories.
Must get together more often!
Susannah was at home till after lunch so nice for the next generation to meet too!
Three good things
1. Keeping in touch
2. A bit of a 'cookathon' in the kitchen this morning!
3. Left overs for a few days!!
Funnily enough I will be posting a photo similar to this next week! So good to stil be in touch in our busy world. It's sometimes hard not to let friendships laps.
