The local strawberries from Barra Berries, a couple of miles along the road, are in the local butcher's shop. That is the sign of summer we think around here!
Certainly cheered up a very, very, wet day
Three good things
1. The awesome taste of local strawberries....as good as home grown and each one is a luxury!
2. Catch up time with two cousins this morning - great chat and lovely edibles!
3. Fish pancakes for tea.....I don't think I have made pancakes since Connor was here last summer and the smells and sounds just reminded me of these happy days!
