What a fabulous day! Glorious sunshine for the local Highland Games and as it all takes place right across the road from our house we hear all the commentary, music etc while doing whatever we choose. And a little while over to see what's happening is good!
This is the Kintore Pipe Band - based just a few miles away from here - and the very smart drummer at the back of the band is a good friend! Quite hot for all the kilts which are rather heavy to wear!c
Three good things
1. The tiling man came to measure up for our refurbishment in the bathroom.
2. Two lovely French students, who are working with Allan at Pitmedden Garden, came for refreshments and the sports experience!
3. Pipe Music, gardening, BBQ smells and good food soon!

It was a fun day and having the students for BBQ along with two friends who are fully involved at the garden was a real pleasure. They enjoyed their day immensely and so did we!
