The lovely Fiona Bruce of Antiques Roadshow and more was on TV this evening. It made me go and take a photo of the quite old vases we have. My mum was given them by an old man she was very kind to when she was in her 20s. Indeed my grandparents had him come to stay for the last six months of his life though they didn't really know much about him. The vases had belonged to his parents - wedding present we think ....so they've been around for a while! But I don't really think they're treasure......and one has a little chip. But a good story.
