It was 6 o'clock before I got home tonight.......grateful for a lift after such a busy day.
And Allan had a t-bone steak for us to share with lovely red wine.
Afterwards I raided the freezer and found Apples, cheesecake and ice cream.......
And then we finished with Becherovka ...a liqueur Allan discovered in his Prague experience 23 years ago 😊
Three good things
1. Today is my dad's birthday .....miss him!
2. Sent some flowers to mum...she did appreciate them.
3. Delicious dinner gratefully shared......and an early night after a long week!
Hard the first big reminder date after a loved ones passing....kind of you to think of mum. That drink sounds interesting. Just right for after a long hard winter day.
I know how you feel. The 17th would have been my Dad's birthday. I still miss him very much. But it's good to miss someone because you have so many good memories. Sounds like a nice evening. Dessert sounds yummy!
