walk at the sand dunes by sarah19

walk at the sand dunes

A lovely leisurely morning.....after a bit of essential shopping we drove to the Care Home where Mr B is now working and it was lovely to see the grounds which are his big challenge! Had to do some indoor tasks too but enjoying it. Once upon a time it was a lovely family home with tower /turret and must have been quite a place. We didn't go inside today but perhaps can revisit later!
Afterwards, we drove to the beach just along the road. It was clear but bitter wind.....and we just walked for a while. I love the long grasses there.
Three good things
1. Cobwebs clear after the walk
2. Lovely new salmon recipe for tea
3. Lots of work done and hot bath time!

I really like your hat (and your poppy of course). Remembrance Sunday tomorrow. We always watch BBC TV.

This is a beautiful image. I love the pops of red provided by your hat, and of course your poppy!

@gijsje @jamibann thank you for your lovely comments. It was bracing and more in the wind and we hadn't been there for ages. Lovely sunshine and clear skies....but 30° cooler than our sand experience in Egypt last month!! Definitely needed the hat and it matched the poppy nicely!😄
