Barra Bronze Turkey and the chef!

It really was as delicious as it looks and very simple to cook with clear instructions from the farmer. Love getting special food from local suppliers.
Craig the farmer writes on his web page:
"Harvest 1953 - My great grandfather harvested oats to feed to his turkeys. He always said “Our home grown oats give our turkeys that beautiful creamy coloured finish.
We are still doing the same today."
Three good things
1. Lovely starter by Susannah
2. Leisurely pace of lunch
3. Generous presents.....and everyone seems to be happy with the books they received....etc!!
This looks an incredible turkey Sallie! Allan looks pleased with it!

@happypat it was absolutely fantastic. Really moist...no fuss just an omion inside and came with a thermometer which popped up when turkey was cooked. How cool is that?

@happypat well it wasn't supermarket price but still a lot less expensive than eating out and we have had several meals from it plus lovely stock for soup 😀
