Butternut in the early morning sun by seacreature

Butternut in the early morning sun

My appointment with specialist physician today about swollen feet, but I was determined to find the time to shoot these flowers on a rogue butternut plant growing from home made compost I put on my lemon tree before I left. Thank goodness - because I ended up being admitted to hospital for a whole battery of tests so no chance of another shoot in the early morning sunlight tomorrow morning.
The drops and colour are lovely. Have you got some answers about your feet?!

@narayani Thanks Narayani. My doc was wonderful and very thorough. Feel a bit like a hypochondriac, but very glad that after all the scans and tests there's not much wrong. Blood pressure was very high, but after double dosing on the diuretics while being monitored in hospital, blood pressure is now normal and feet are also down to normal. Yippee. She did find I have high cholesterol and anaemia. I will try and address the cholesterol with lifestyle changes and see her in 4 weeks to see if I can avoid the meds.

@seacreature so glad your feet are back to normal and it's nothing too serious. All the best with getting things back on track.

So glad to hear they've finally figured out the swelling in your feet, that had to been so painful. The droplets on this are beautiful!

@beckyk365 @bf2016 @anniesue - thank you . I can't imagine how the cholesterol or anaemia could be related to the swelling, but at least now I have had a thorough medical exam, know what I have to work on, and have diuretics to try and control the swelling!
