After a long hiatus during which time I haven't even taken my camera out of its bag because I felt both mentally and physically stretched, I realised today while I was cleaning the flat again that it was a beautiful summery day and I just needed to take a minute to record it, and then carry on with my cleaning. Had guests leaving this morning, and a new booking arriving this evening. I'm so grateful to be getting all these bookings
So pretty! Glad to see you back. Sometimes life gets so demanding and there's not much time or energy left for any extras. I know you look after your parents and believe me, I know how demanding that can be.
@narayani Thanks Narayani. My Mum is finally starting to look a little better thank you. It has been a long haul, and I started "bullying" her to get out of bed and start eating. My poor father was becoming more and more depressed, but now I think we have turned the corner for the moment. I know it is part of the natural cycle of life that they will pass on, but while they are still here I need to do what I can to make their lives more comfortable.
