A 52 week challenge shot (Champagne) that was due about 3 weeks ago was proving to be a stumbling block for me as I didn't have any champagne, and don't even have any champagne glasses. I finally set up my shot using one of the old baby cham glasses that my Gran used to put on the Christmas Table (back then we all got a real Baby Cham). I just used soda water coloured with yellow food colouring, and sprinkled sugar in to try and make it bubble, so at least I have submitted my outstanding challenge shot anyway.
That was a very creative way to make champagne! Personally, I would have seen it as the perfect excuse to go and buy some! And once it was open...hey...I wouldn't want it to go to waste 😄
@narayani Yes I considered going out and buying champagne (sparkling wine actually), but never quite found the time to get to a bottle store so decided I just had to get this done before another couple of weeks went by!
