Concrete No. 1

I read an article in Digital Photography School that gave a number of reasons to photograph concrete. So, I decided to start looking more closely at concrete (or in this case, plaster) and start shooting. If nothing else, I can see this becoming a background, or perhaps something to layer with another type of shot if I ever learn to use Gimp and layers

So well done. I always remind myself to look more for patterns, backgrouns, etc. to use as layers.

@mona65 Thanks for the comment and the fave, Mona. I have no idea yet how to use this as a layer. I don't have Photoshop so will have to start learning Gimp sometime, but I kind of liked the weathered look of this anyway
