It wasn't by knowledge or planning or design that I walked the doglets late and was down by the river an hour after low tide. For anyone who knows my photos they might recognize these boats which are normally floating in loads of water showing the reflections I love so much. Today it was just acres and acres of mud!
@anniesue Yes absolutely. And because of this it prompted me to go researching tides, and what causes the tides, and the effect of the moon and tides on fishing ... so now I know why all the fishing trawlers are out at sea at the moment. Only one left standing in the harbour.
@narayani I have frequently seen the tide so high it floods the parking area, but not previously seen it so low. So I had to start reading and learning about tides. So lucky to have internet to search for information easily in this day and age
