The weather couldn't have been more perfect to meet up with one of my daughter's old school friends and her two little ones on the beach. Maddy, at only 2 years old is a little in awe of her newly met friends aged 6 and 4 so she kind of enjoyed herself a little separately from the siblings who played together.
@Dawn Thank you @narayani Thank you. Maddy is nearing three as her birthday is July. But she has always been very tall for her age - even as a newborn. At all the clinic measurements she was at the 100 percentile for height in her age group. Her mother was the same - I felt she lost out on a lot of her babyhood because she looked so much older than she was, that most adults expected more of her - and she gave it. So I am making a very conscious effort to let Maddy be a baby and play little games with her @ludwigsdiana Thank you so much Diana
That’s hard when people expect more because a child looks older. I think my neighbour’s great grandson will experience that. He is a month younger than Ren but looks much older. Ren is still quite small - like his mother.
