These small leaves were so radiant under the late afternoon sun. WA state's day light savings time had us "spring forward" our clocks by an hour. I'm still on the old time :). I need to get in sync with the clock.
Colours are fabulous. Definite FAV. I'm curious about the black background, was this edited in after the shot or was there a black background in place?
I like how the darker background just turns black on close-up shots, and here it just make the leaves stand out so nicely! Beautifully caught piece of light!
they almost look like autumn leaves. I have trouble "springing forward" too and although I enjoy daylight saving I am now looking forward to going back an hour in a few weeks
