I spotted this wild brown rabbit munching grass in my backyard a couple of days ago. In all of my life living in West Seattle, I have never seen a wild rabbit in residential areas only in parks and zoos. Anyway, I was able to get this shot before he hopped away. Enjoy your day and thanks for stopping by.
Adorable. How nice to see them! I never see them either, except in refuges.....and their ears are so covered in ticks, it is horrible. This is wonderful!
He is so cute. We have rabbits all over our residential only (no commercial) area. There is lots of brush for them to hide under. We had them in our back yard for several years, and they were eating our grass to the point where we had to re-sod large areas after being gone for the summer. I miss them. My husband put up a "fence" of wire on our open back fence so they can no longer get through. Now they just eat the front yard grass.
