Seattle's annual heat wave is in full swing. This shot was taken a few days ago at Green Lake. I walked the lake in the morning when there's more shade to stay cool. As I mentioned in an earlier post, Seattle is covered with a smoke haze that is coming from the British Columbia wildfires. Historically, these are the worst wildfires BC has experienced in 60 years. Praying that BC can get control of these wildfires and that everyone remains safe.
Great sharpness and detail. I've been reading about the heat wave. They say it's the hottest ever. My sister says the haze/pollution from the fires is really bad. When are people going to get air conditioning up there? One has to wonder if it's finally time.
Beautiful capture. We have been going through heat wave after heat wave throughout this summer. No wildfires here, no big forests around. Hope those at BC are brought under control very soon.
Lovely capture and the water is beautifully clear :)
