Lincoln Park has large camellia bushes/trees that produce white, pink marbled, dark rose pink camellias. They are all blooming. On this particular afternoon, a few days ago, the weather was overcast but just started to brighten a bit when I took this capture. Enjoy your Sunday.
We have the twin of your camellia but the flowers - and it has hundreds of them - are very quick to fade and acquire little brown stains on the petals shortly after opening... so nice to see yours looking pretty.
