Swanage Bay by shepherdman

Swanage Bay

The purpose of our weekend by the coast is watersports - waterskiing and knee boarding . Having tried this for several years, I have formed the opinion that being towed at speed on a plank until a particularly sharp turn across a wave sends you flying into the air, and then skimming across the water like a stone, is not for me, especially in the British Climate. I have a more sedate cycle ride, or this year a coastal walk. This was taken at the end of my walk, descending into Swanage to join my friends who were water-skiing from a cool and breezy beach under the white cliffs across the bay. The apartments in Poole can be seen in the distance.
