The snow is disappearing slowly, but still enough to enhance the daily dog walks. I often avoid this this path beneath the trees at this time of the year. Much of the route becomes muddy in late autumn, and remains that way until the warmer sunshine of spring dries it out. Today it was frozen, and I was able to walk the dogs along it without them returning home exceedingly muddy.
