Severn Valley Railway

Thanks to the fast flow of the River Severn following recent rain, instead of the planned canoe trip down the River Severn and return steam train trip we enjoyed a return trip on the railway. This heritage steam railway runs 16 miles alongside the River Severn, and was very busy during our visit.
All looks very exciting! Our Castle Hedingham Railway only has the tiniest bit of rail, about half a mile!
